Born and raised in the well-known cradle of electronic music culture called Belgium, Walrus has for the past fifteen years been challenging our perceptions of club music with a fiery passion that, beyond his personal take on deejaying has resulted in the creation of his label, Basic Moves. A visionary artist with idiosyncratic taste, Walrus is always willing to shift the scales, to radically surprise, and to give us something profoundly new. Living in his own personal musical space, the former Fuse club resident builds up tension in a way that is as serious as it is open-minded.
