NICOL BOLAS (FR)
Hugo Brillet lives and works in Athens. By manipulating motifs specific to fantasy culture, the use of new-age accessories (incense, medical plants and more) and the irruption of technological components, he brings out installations that offer themselves as altars to lost deities. They could be called melancholy, love and wandering, a collection of tarot cards - or Magic - which would form his emotional cosmology. His installations are also the sets for his performances, in which he composes and decomposes his voice and his music, under the name Nicol Bolas.
